Job Summary

A leader in the modern life insurance space has an open position for a Remote Life Insurance Technical Underwriting Consultant.

Must be able to:

• Oversee underwriting decisions of automated underwriting rules engine to ensure proper decisioning
• Enhance, monitor, and support the underwriting logic and data within our instant decision underwriting platform.
• Develop processes and procedures related to underwriting

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 10+ years experience underwriting life insurance products
• 1+ year experience with rules development and implementation
• Strong technical background
• Experience researching process improvement solutions and driving implementation
• Experience researching underwriting rule enhancement improvement solutions and driving implementation
• Relationship management experience; strong communication skills and stakeholder management
