Job Summary

A financial services company is filling a position for a Remote Life Insurance Underwriter 3.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Evaluating applications for individual life insurance on face amounts up to $750,000
• Ensuring prompt and efficient service to our clients, achieve departmental goals and service standards
• Participating in ongoing training to continue to develop your skills and knowledge

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Biology, Psychology, or similar is a plus, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 6-10 years of Life Insurance Underwriting experience
• Medical terminology knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of underwriting manuals, anatomy, and disease
• Ability to review medical records and make accurate underwriting assessments by applying appropriate guidelines
• Efficiency and ability to quickly gather accurate information, analyze it and make decisions
