Job Summary
A full-service mutual insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Life Insurance Underwriting Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Planing, organizing and distributing day to day workflow for the team
- Providing leadership and managing underwriters
- Exercising signing authority up to $15 million
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 7 years experience underwriting in the life insurance business
- Knowledge and understanding of financial concepts/terminology and medical terminology
- Ability to motivate, develop, and direct staff
- Knowledge and experience with Medical Information Bureau (MIB) coding
- 5 years experience writing documents such as emails, correspondence, adverse disclosure, etc
