Remote Life Sciences Senior Portfolio Underwriter

Job Summary

An insurance company has an open position for a Remote Life Sciences Senior Portfolio Underwriter.

Must be able to:

• Underwrite and manage CL renewal business handled by the Renewal Center for respective agency assignments
• Be responsible for individually underwriting and servicing the non-bypass accounts in their assigned portfolio
• Handle endorsements on Renewal Center book of business

Qualifications Include:

• Strong underwriting skill and coverage knowledge
• Ability to make underwriting decisions on Small Commercial and Middle Market accounts
• Demonstrated commitment to service and partners
• Ability to build and maintain close working relationships with Agents, UTs, SCSMs, and New Business UWs
• Excellent time management skills, responsiveness, and willingness to bring appropriate level of underwriting to those accounts
• Must understand CL goals and strategies and execute on them effectively and have a positive track record of achievement
