Remote Life Skills Special Education Teacher

Job Summary

An education company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Life Skills Special Education Teacher.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Developing compliant IEPs, progress reports and other documentation
• Ensuring inclusion and success of student in the general education classroom
• Documenting all contact with parents and interventions with students

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to travel approximately 10% for face-to-face professional development, student testing, etc
• Bachelor's degree and active State Special Education teaching license
• Receptive to receiving coaching on a regular basis with administrators
• Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint
• Ability to clear required background check
