Job Summary

A full-service mutual insurance company has a current position open for a Remote Life Underwriting Manager.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Organizing and distributing day to day workflow for the team
  • Providing leadership and manages Underwriters
  • Building business relationships with life insurance producers

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience underwriting in the life insurance business
  • Understanding of financial concepts/terminology and medical terminology
  • Ability to motivate, develop, and direct staff
  • Knowledge and experience with Medical Information Bureau (MIB) coding
  • 5 – 10 years experience writing documents
