Job Summary
A hosted continuous integration company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Linux Administrator.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Maintaining and provisioning servers that are powering our infrastructure
- Working directly with customers to resolve any issues that they may be having with the platform
- Participating in the building of tools and processes to support the infrastructure
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Paid trips to conferences and company retreats
- A solid understanding of the Linux operating system
- Ability to debug and solve configuration, performance and reliability problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of standard methodologies: configuration management, monitoring, alerting, metrics
- All other requirements necessary for this position
