Job Summary
An education technology company has a current position open for a Remote Literacy and Humanities Development Professional Design and Implementation Director.
Must be able to:
- Own budgeting and reforecasting for Literacy & Humanities PD development and staff training
- Assess impact and effectiveness of training by analyzing feedback from PD participants
- Support cross-functional initiatives across the broader PD team
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Education
- 5 or more years of experience teaching and/or coaching literacy with K-12 students
- 3 or more years of experience supporting district-level implementation
- Proven knowledge of current ELA and Common Core ELA Standards
- Understanding of the research behind effective coaching practices and cycles for improving student achievement
- 3 or more years of experience (at scale) managing design and facilitating literacy professional development sessions
