Job Summary

An education technology company has a current position open for a Remote Literacy and Humanities Development Professional Design and Implementation Director.

Must be able to:

  • Own budgeting and reforecasting for Literacy & Humanities PD development and staff training
  • Assess impact and effectiveness of training by analyzing feedback from PD participants
  • Support cross-functional initiatives across the broader PD team

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education
  • 5 or more years of experience teaching and/or coaching literacy with K-12 students
  • 3 or more years of experience supporting district-level implementation
  • Proven knowledge of current ELA and Common Core ELA Standards
  • Understanding of the research behind effective coaching practices and cycles for improving student achievement
  • 3 or more years of experience (at scale) managing design and facilitating literacy professional development sessions
