Job Summary
A software development company has an open position for a Remote Litigation and Regulatory Counsel.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing legal support for internal investigations related to employment and compliance matters
- Managing all aspects of e-Discovery
- Updating and maintaining the records retention policy and related schedule
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Proven track record of handling litigation and regulatory matters
- At least 5 years of relevant experience working in a law firm and/or government agency
- Substantive experience with privacy litigation and regulatory investigations
- Excellent judgment, particularly in determining the significance of legal matters
- Substantive experience with conducting internal investigations
- A growth mindset in approaching novel and complex legal issues
