Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Remote Litigation Collector will manage outstanding account balances related to litigation cases, ensuring compliance with personal injury regulations while collaborating with legal counsel to resolve accounts efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate documentation and stay current on personal injury regulations while managing litigation accounts
• Audit patient accounts for accuracy and prepare statements in response to legal inquiries
• Negotiate settlements in accordance with company guidelines and reduce days in accounts receivable

Required qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent); Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare collections or personal injury
• Strong knowledge of healthcare billing practices and accounts receivable follow-up
• Experience with personal injury or litigation-related billing strongly preferred
• Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills
