Remote Loan Officer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Pre-Approval Specialist/Jr Loan Officer will contact leads, intake loans, and assist borrowers by reviewing applications, analyzing income, and ensuring files are ready for processing while maintaining a collaborative environment with video communication.

Key responsibilities

• Work with borrowers to prequalify and issue pre-qualification and pre-approval letters
• Analyze income, DTI, credit, and loan structure for pre-approval, ensuring data accuracy
• Maintain organized pipeline management and facilitate communication with borrowers, Realtors, and the internal team

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Loan Officer Assistant or Loan Officer
• Strong understanding of FHA, VA, Conventional, and Non-QM loan programs
• Skilled in income calculation and AUS guideline review
• Experience with LendingPad, Arive, and Monday.com preferred
• Must be comfortable working remotely on video with a collaborative team
