Job Summary
A translation services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Localization Support Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Coordinating all phases of assigned translation projects
- Thoroughly reviewing source material for issues potentially affecting quality or delivery timeline
- Preparing and preliminarily engineering source files for CAT tools and Translation Memory
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Technical education, a relevant university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
- In depth know-how in the use of a good range of graphic design and desktop publishing tools and all major file types
- Intimate knowledge of the localization industry and its technical aspects
- At least 2 years of recent experience with memoQ and a good knowledge of CAT tools generally
- Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of standard office software (Microsoft Office)
