Job Summary

An insurance and financial services company has a current position open for a Remote Long Term Care Benefit Claim Specialist or Senior Specialist .

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Developing case files that demonstrate appropriate decision making based on documented procedures using claim facts
• Making Long Term Care decisions in partnership with management throughout the life of the claim
• Reviewing and determining continuing claim liability

Qualifications for this position include:

• May occasionally travel to a company office or elsewhere for required meetings or team-building events
• College degree or equivalent industry experience
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• A solid level of customer service
• Demonstrate the ability to increase independent decision making and critical thinking capabilities
• Ability to move from dependent to independent decision-making
