Remote Long Term Disability Case Manager 1

Job Summary

A financial services company is in need of a Remote Long Term Disability Case Manager 1.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Managing and prioritizing a group of claims on an ongoing basis while maintaining appropriate documentation
• Obtaining all pertinent and necessary information to evaluate claim credibility
• Preparing written rationale of claim decision based on review of contractual provisions

Qualifications for this position include:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with client service orientation
• Must be able to work independently and a team environment
• Ability to conduct detailed claimant interviews
• Solid critical thinking skills as well as the ability to negotiate with people
