Job Summary

A benefits management company is seeking a Remote Long Term Disability Claims Examiner I.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Reviewing and investigating disability claims by using telephone and written contact
• Adjudicating claims accurately and fairly in accordance with the contract
• Utilizing appropriate medical and risk resources, adhering to referral polices

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Ability to manage assigned case load of 60-80 simple cases
• Ability to partner with supervisor to develop desk management capabilities and priorities
• Ability to fully investigate simple claims, and submit recommendations
