Job Summary
A therapy staffing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Louisiana Licensed School Based Speech Language Pathologist.
Must be able to:
- Conduct remote speech and language assessments to evaluate students' communication skills
- Provide virtual speech-language therapy sessions to students through video conferencing platforms
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with specific goals and intervention strategies
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience working as a school-based speech-language pathologist or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using virtual platforms and technology for remote assessments and therapy sessions
- Knowledge of special education processes and regulations
- Strong understanding of communication disorders and intervention strategies
