Offering a flexible work-from-home opportunity, the contract Low German Remote Interpreter will provide telephonic interpretation services, primarily in medical contexts, while setting their own schedule to accommodate a high volume of calls across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide over-the-phone interpretation services for clients in diverse industries, including medical, insurance, and customer service
• Manage call volume effectively, ensuring timely and accurate interpretation during each session
• Utilize an online portal or landline telephone to log on and off for interpreting services at any time

Required qualifications

• Must legally reside in the United States and provide a Social Security Number or Employer Identification Number along with a photo ID
• Prior interpreting experience is preferred
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet client needs
• Independent contractor status, allowing for self-scheduling and remote work
• Not located in California, New Jersey, or New York, as recruitment is not open in these states
