Job Summary

A recruiting and human resources firm is filling a position for a Remote Low Latency Linux Systems Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and tune the operating system
  • Administer the network across data centers
  • Purchase and coordinate the installation of hardware

Required Skills:

  • Able to work Eastern Standard Time hours
  • 3+ years of Linux operating systems experience – installing and maintaining
  • Low latency experience
  • Background in the trading/algotrading industry
  • Experience with configuration management tools (i.e. Puppet, Chef, etc.)
  • Experience working remotely with off-shore teams
