Job Summary

A benefits company has a current position open for a Remote LTD Claims Examiner I.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Reviewing and investigating disability claims
• Utilizing appropriate medical and risk resources
• Conducting in-depth pre-existing condition or contestable investigations if applicable

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Manage assigned case load of 60-80 simple cases experience
• Partners with supervisor or Sr. Examiners to develop desk management capabilities and priorities to ensure all claims commitments are met
• Can obtain and analyze information to make claim decisions and payments
