Job Summary
A biotechnology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Machine Learning Biologist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Perform computational biology research projects
- Work with internal partners and external collaborators to integrate and scale solutions
- Demonstrate insights and value internally through presentations and documentation
Position Requirements Include:
- PhD or equivalent research experience in applied mathematics, computer science or a quantitative biology
- Proven experience in a domain of computational or quantitative biology
- Familiarity with modern approaches to machine learning and statistical inference
- Expert in Python 3 and numerical libraries
- Strength in statistics, especially Bayesian methods
- Experience using or developing high-performance computation on large datasets
