Job Summary

A staffing firm is seeking a Remote Mainframe Telecommunications Systems Programmer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Researching and recommending the appropriate system software
  • Collaborating and consulting with application development teams
  • Analyzing repeat incident patterns

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Must be commuting distance
  • Familiarity with OSA card/switch configurations
  • Proficient in Mainframe Communication software, including but not limited to VTAM and TCPIP
  • Eight to ten (8-10) years of related infrastructure experience is required
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required
  • Unix System Services experience
