Job Summary
A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Managed Care Contracting Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Creating and prioritizing action plans for contracted escalation issues
- Collecting and consolidating data and creating the strategy and work plan for each payor
- Engaging with payor at appropriate levels
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience to substitute for the bachelor’s degree
- 5 years with healthcare contracts and/or managing key accounts/relationships in a provider related company
- Extensive knowledge of contracts and contract administration in a healthcare setting
- Highly focused and structured in creating proposals, forecasts and action plan
- Demonstrated, high level negotiation and collaboration skills
- Ability to analyze information and convert related activities into a comprehensive work plan
