A green purchasing cooperative needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Management Sustainability Director in Reston.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Spearheading the product category attribution development
• Coordinating the efforts of various subject matter experts and the members
• Working collaboratively with the Vice President of Contracting

Required Skills:

• 8 years in sustainability, green procurement, health care and/or program management
• Excellent understanding of environmental purchasing practices
• Good understanding of supply chain processes
• Knowledge of sustainability, preferably related to health care
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Ability to think strategically and globally
