Job Summary

A software development company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Managing Editor in Chicago.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Create the plan, including an editorial vision and initial calendar, for company media
• Leverage a team of influential, highly motivated industry SMEs to fuel content creation
• Analyze digital content performance data and help build KPIs

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of editorial experience
• Direct experience leading the editorial strategy of publications, magazines or websites
• B.S. or B.A. in journalism or equivalent
• Understanding of how to build, measure and optimize programs
• Experience growing audience followings and engagement strategies to drive influential conversations
• Strong conceptual abilities and client presentation skills with a clear vision of how the work addresses client challenges
