Job Summary
A language services company is in need of a Remote Mandarin Tutor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Helping kids learn Mandarin through fun, interesting conversations viavideo-conference
- Utilizing engaging proprietary content (i.e. photos, poems, and short videos) to spark discussion
- Assisting the student with new words or corrections as needed while adding new words to the student’s personalized word list
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Articulate, native-fluency Mandarin speaker with a standard accent
- Strong English speaking skills
- Bachelor of Arts, Masters degree or PhD with a focus on education or language
- Teaching or tutoring experience and an interest in early childhood education
- Tutors need an engaging and encouraging presence over video-conference
- Quiet, private, interruption-free room to conduct online tutoring sessions
