Job Summary
A manufacturing company is seeking a Remote Manufacturing Buyer Planner in Milwaukie.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting the Supply Chain Manager and the Planning team
- Minimizing late customer deliveries
- Maximizing inventory turns for planned products by reducing excess and obsolete inventory
Position Requirements Include:
- 2-5 years experience in the Planning and purchasing functions in a large manufacturing organization
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment utilizing real-time ERP/MRP
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the business
- Industry certification preferred in the areas of APICS and/or ISM
- Demonstrated experience in Lean Concepts
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
