Job Summary
A communications company has a current position open for a Remote Manufacturing Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting with with make/buy analysis, facilities planning, new product introductions, and project planning
- Interfacing with design engineering, quality, purchasing, planning, logistics, service, and production
- Coordinating the release of new products, sustaining existing product and analyzing returned products
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- 4+ years Lean Six Sigma
- 8+ years’ experience in Manufacturing Engineering/Industrial Engineering supporting operations
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents and engineering drawings
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and propose solutions and courses of action
