Job Summary

A medical wellness company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Manufacturing Firmware Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Develop firmware for the manufacturing test fixtures and operator interfacing software
  • Work closely with manufacturing team and provide quick resolution to any issues that require engineering investigation
  • Create technical documentation for entire manufacturing test process and operator instructions

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Strong background in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • 3+ years of experience writing embedded software & firmware
  • Experience integrating third party SDKs, libraries, drivers with the application
  • Good understanding of android architecture from application layer to driver layer
  • Familiarity with android flashing, provisioning & debugging tools
  • Experience with new hardware board bring-up and ability to debug hardware and software issues
