Job Summary
An automaker company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Manufacturing IT Staff Database Administrator.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Work with application/development team to design optimized schema to ensure data consistency and reliability
- Work with application team for Database Archival, Purging, remove unused tables etc
- Implement architectural roadmap on High Availability and Disaster Recovery solution
Qualifications for this position include:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a production support database administrator
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
- Possess technical skills in various versions of MS SQL Server
- Proficient with the SQL Server Log Shipping, clustering, replication and database mirroring features
- Experience with SQL, Transact-SQL and troubleshooting queries and stored procedures
- Solid understanding of installing and managing 3rd party vendor applications and dependent components
