Job Summary
A chemical production company is in need of a Remote Manufacturing Payroll Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Administering end to end payroll process for 4,000+ U.S. employees
- Ensuring compliance for exempt and non-exempt (union and non-union), employee populations
- Identifying process improvement initiatives and defining standards for new processes
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Minimum of a HS Diploma/GED
- Minimum of 3 years experience with end-to-end payroll processing
- Advanced Excel experience (pivot tables and lookups)
- Thorough knowledge of payroll related state, legal, tax, and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and best practices
