Job Summary
Flexible part- to full-time contract position with full-service quantitative market research firm. This position will handle overflow project management and reporting of custom market research projects, from inception through reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to handle projects through to completion, including questionnaire development, data analysis/reporting, and project management
Must be able to work independently
Strong communication skills
Communicate directly with clients at all stages of a project
Be able to solve problems quickly and concisely
Aid in study design/proposal development.
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills:
Strong writing skills; ability to build a story from the data, author concise upper management-ready reports and make business-oriented recommendations
Strong analytic skills with working knowledge of statistical modeling and analysis
Knowledge of a variety of different research methods
Knowledge of all operational components including
- Questionnaire development
- Development of coding structures
- Specking and checking computer tables
- Understanding of sampling issues
Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint (SPSS a plus)
Education/Training/Experience:
At least 10 years with a custom research supplier or an equivalent mix of client-side and supplier-side.
