Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive, smart, and hyper-organized part-time virtual Marketing/PR Assistant. This position will work directly with our VP of Communications to help organize and support marketing and public relations efforts across multiple brands.

The right candidate is someone who is always thinking ahead and can tackle projects without every detail. We work fast, and this role requires someone who can juggle multiple projects and priorities coming from every angle. You're excited to be in an entrepreneurial virtual working environment, you're energized (rather than intimidated) by an evolving startup culture, and you are eager to take on an array of responsibilities.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Marketing and writing chops. You've got some relevant marketing and copywriting experience under your belt, but prefer to work part-time with a socially conscious business knowing there is potential to grow into a full-time position.

- You've demonstrated an understanding of and ability to apply marketing concepts.

- Juggler. You take a busy day in stride. You can handle multiple projects and manage your time well.

- All about the details. You pay attention to the little things, have excellent written communication skills, and execute tasks with ease.

- You're a quick, responsive, and clear communicator.

- Experience working independently with very little supervision in a remote environment.

THE JOB
- Supporting VP of Communications on all PR/media opportunities, including research, developing potential storylines, and pitching media outlets across brands.

- Providing support with product launches, PR efforts, and marketing outreach.
Playing an active role in brainstorming and developing marketing tactics that will push the brand forward.

- Helping to identify opportunities to build brand awareness and support new collection launches.

- Rolling up your sleeves and fill in gaps when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-4 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, or working with a fast-paced team in marketing, public relations, or brand strategy.

- Strong written communication skills with an ability to write copy for marketing campaigns.
Experience managing brand stories and integrated campaigns, expertise in digital executions a plus.

- A stickler for the details - exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and self-manage against tight timelines.

- Solutions-oriented, thoughtful and diligent.

- Desire to grow along with our team - ready to adapt in an entrepreneurial start-up environment.
