Job Summary
An online and mobile marketplace is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Marketplace Senior Data Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Architecting and building data infrastructure, pipelines and solutions for the new high impact project noted above
- Designing, architecting and supporting new and existing ELT pipelines
- Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements
Position Requirements Include:
- Must be a self-starter capable of working independently, but also as part of a team
- Proven track record of gathering business and technical requirements and transforming those into solutions
- Experience building complex architectures to solve complex problems
- 5 years of experience, which includes at least 3 years of experience implementing complex ELT pipelines
- Experience writing complex SQL and ELT processes
- Exceptional coding and design skills, particularly in Python and SQL
