Remote Marshallese Interpreter

Job Summary

To support the OnDemand service, the Remote Marshallese Contract Interpreter will provide consecutive interpretation, adhere to client protocols, and maintain confidentiality while working on a contracted basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation for various clients
• Follows all interpreter protocols and procedures as required by clients
• Continuously improves vocabulary and subject matter knowledge relevant to interpreting needs

Required qualifications:

• Updated resume in English at the time of application
• Completion of English Language Proficiency with a rating of technical proficiency (3 or higher on the ILR scale)
• Successful completion of a mock oral interpretation session with a passing score
• Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment with a passing score
• Full background check and security screen, along with a signed commitment to confidentiality and ethics
