A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Masters Level Counselor Social Worker.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Performing daily telephonic outreach to referred members of a health plan
- Providing educational information, patient tools, and other supports
- Utilizing motivational interviewing to deliver services in a compassionate, empathic manner
Qualifications for this position include:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy
- 2 or more years’ post-Master’s clinical experience
- Experience in patient empowerment models
- Exceptional phone skills and a strong, independent work ethic
- Experience delivering brief, measurable, outcome based clinical interventions in fast paced environment
- Comfort with issues surrounding advanced illness, death, and dying
