Job Summary
A manufacturing company specializing in materials science is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Materials Science Inventory Optimization Leader.
Must be able to:
- Develop and maintain policies to support the Division’s inventory strategy in Work in Process, Raw Materials, Purchased, and Manufactured finished goods
- Work with SC systems, process and projects team to identify process changes and systems modifications
- Facilitate meetings to achieve consensus between functional groups and with stakeholders and management
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelors in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or equivalent
- At least 5 to 7 years’ experience in Supply Chain systems: forecasting, planning, inventory management, warehousing and distribution
- Experienced change management facilitator with strong stakeholder influencing skills
- Extensive Inventory Management and Demand Strategy experience
- Knowledge of Supply Chain processes
- Ability to break down business challenges into smaller pieces and translate them into solutions
