Remote Math Tutor

Job Summary

To support personalized learning, the part-time Remote Math Tutor will deliver one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 5-8, focusing on foundational skills and academic performance improvement while working less than 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one online math lessons aligned with the Common Core State Standards
• Utilize interactive and student-centered teaching methods to enhance engagement and understanding
• Prepare tailored lesson content and provide timely feedback to support student progress

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Math, Education, or related fields
• Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate is highly preferred
• Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred
