Job Summary
Delivering personalized online instruction, the part-time Remote Math Tutor will provide one-on-one math lessons for students in Grades 5-8, focusing on the U.S. Common Core State Standards while working remotely and engaging students through interactive teaching methods.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one online math lessons aligned with the CCSS framework
- Prepare lesson content tailored to individual student needs and promote engagement
- Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Math, Education, or related fields
- Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate is highly preferred
- Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred
