Job Summary
A manufacturing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Mechanical and Electrical Components Category Management Vice President.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Manage outsourced spend potentially greater than GBP 100m per year
- Build, maintain and manage scaled & critical strategic supplier relationships
- Conduct strategic sourcing, search and supplier evaluations
Position Requirements Include:
- 10+ years experience in Supply Chain / Strategic Procurement within a technology / aerospace company
- Bachelor degree in Business, Operations, Strategy, Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of ITAR and MoD requirements
- Knowledge of DoD sourcing practices including CPSR
- Evidence of managing strategic sourcing processes and critical supplier relationships and of leading complex sourcing evaluation process and outsourcing
