Remote Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Create complex 3D models and 2D drawings for rotorcraft and/or fixed-wing design
• Own development and release of products throughout the customer lifecycle
• Develop and manage technical engineering documentation including bill of materials and trade studies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline
• 5-10 years of applicable experience
• Strong background in Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling and drafting software, preferably CATIA v5/v6/3DX
• Experience with Sheet Metal, Machining, and/or Composites Design
• Proficient in ANSI/ASME Y14.1 design and drafting standards
