Remote Mechanical Designer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Remote Mechanical Designer will manage the mechanical design process from concept development to detailed component modeling, utilizing PTC Creo and Windchill for 3D modeling and product data management.

Key responsibilities

• Run the mechanical design process, producing precise manufacturing drawings and applying GD&T
• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure designs meet performance, manufacturability, and quality standards
• Develop 3D models and BOMs while managing revisions and product data effectively

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience
• Proficiency in PTC Creo and Windchill
• Experience in producing drawings from mechanical designs
• Ability to work in a customer-facing environment
• Strong teamwork skills and the capacity to take direction from senior engineers
