A non-profit organization has a current position open for a Remote Media Relations Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Monitoring the foundation’s competition and coverage
- Providing communications support for fundraising events and programs
- Identifying, developing and implementing communications strategies in key media markets
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 10-12 years media relations experience in healthcare space
- Minimum of 2 years social media experience on all major social media platforms
- Ability to visualize and translate complex messaging into relevant and interesting content
- Excellent relationships with reporters covering health, science, public policy issues or similar issues
- Experience working with diverse audiences and media outlets
