Job Summary

A digital content company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Media Software Engineering Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to build and maintain our CMS
  • Review designs and evaluate requirements for existing and new features
  • Provide guidance and solutions for complex tasks

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a technical leadership role, managing multiple engineering teams
  • Worked on a CMS and have built several content websites
  • Built and maintained teams as well as motivated and grew their talent
  • Designed and built systems with HTML, CSS, Node.JS, Python, PHP, Microservices, etc
  • Proven record in architecting performant websites and API’s at scale
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
