Remote Medical Actuarial Consultant
Job Summary
A health insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Medical Actuarial Consultant.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Understanding and interpreting key drivers of health care, dental and vision trends
- Assisting in developing analytics that serve as the foundation for actuarial medical cost reporting
- Helping drive ongoing efficiency gains on new and existing processes
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related technical field
- Society of Actuaries or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or in the process of obtaining designation
- 3+ years of actuarial experience
- Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced or higher proficiency in MS Excel
- Basic proficiency with SAS and SQL
