A staffing and recruitment agency needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medical Biller in Atlanta.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Check eligibility and benefit verification Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtain any missing information
• Obtain referrals and pre-authorizations as required for procedures
• Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 1+ years working in medical billing
• High school diploma
• Knowledge of HMO/PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer requirements and systems
• Knowledge of business and accounting processes usually obtained from an associate's degree
