Job Summary
A healthcare solutions company has an open position for a Remote Medical Billing Account Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Taking daily Patient calls to discuss billing inquiries
- Documenting all patient calls in the appropriate area
- Working with clients to complete EDI enrollments
Qualifications for this position include:
- Up to 1 year Experience with medical billing or applicable internship experience
- Associates (2 year degree) or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong desire to learn new skills and be flexible with job duties
- Basic understanding/knowledge of healthcare claims and payers
