Remote Medical Billing Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A physician-owned company has an open position for a Remote Medical Billing Accounts Receivable Specialist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Thoroughly reviewing account notes and details in accordance to resolve the account
• Completing accounts receivable related Activity Codes for all payers
• Processing write-off accounts

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Billing Operations required
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes and procedures in a specialist role
• Knowledge of all payer Financial Classifications including AR management
• Ability to read and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from various payers
• Knowledge of and ability to apply basic math concepts
