Remote Medical Billing Auditor I

Job Summary

A health plan solution company is filling a position for a Remote Auditor I.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Reviewing contracted medical facility and professional claims for accuracy
• Manually entering itemized bills to be used for complex audits
• Assisting with claims pricing testing for any new rate schedule programming

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1+ year(s) of medical claims processing or medical billing experience
• Knowledge and understanding of Medicare and related guidelines
• Knowledge and understanding of CMS-1500 and UB-04 Medical Claim Forms
• Communication (written, verbal and listening), interpersonal and analytic skills
• Ability to use software related to job responsibilities including MS Office with proficiency in Excel and Outlook
