A not-for-profit healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Medical Billing Customer Service Rep in Oak Brook.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing proficiency in providing a single source of information to assist with patient account inquiries
  • Responding to customers questions with the ability to resolve and process most concerns on the initial call
  • Developing skills to understand and explain necessary information from the electronic patient billing system

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 1 year of experience in medical billing, cash application or insurance follow up
  • Six months of call center experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the health care, insurance terminology, and medical billing
  • Ability to work in a high-volume call center environment
  • Excellent customer service and follow up skills
  • Proficient computer skills
