A not-for-profit healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Medical Billing Customer Service Rep in Oak Brook.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Developing proficiency in providing a single source of information to assist with patient account inquiries
- Responding to customers questions with the ability to resolve and process most concerns on the initial call
- Developing skills to understand and explain necessary information from the electronic patient billing system
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 1 year of experience in medical billing, cash application or insurance follow up
- Six months of call center experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of the health care, insurance terminology, and medical billing
- Ability to work in a high-volume call center environment
- Excellent customer service and follow up skills
- Proficient computer skills
