Job Summary
A health insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Medical Billing Representative.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Researching, obtaining, and entering missing information/demographics for completion of accessions
- Demonstrating competency in eligibility, billing and receivable systems and associated applications
- Educatingexternal customers on how to provide complete billing information and avoid additional contacts for information
Skills and Requirements Include:
- High School Diploma / GED or higher equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of experience in healthcare billing, call center setting and phone support role
- Ability to use remote meeting/learning applications including instant messaging and video conferencing
- Demonstrated ability using computer and Windows PC applications
